Foster care volunteers provide temporary care for kittens, puppies, dogs and cats. When you become a foster for BARCS, you are giving a second chance to an animal who needs temporary relief from the shelter as they heal from injury or illness. We Run on Donations
We have more than 300 pets in our shelter right this very minute—we are feeding, caring and showing love to each of them. Being an open admission shelter means that no matter what, our doors (and hearts) are open to every single animal in need.
