Stray/Found Animals at BARCS

The Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) is responsible for handling stray/found animals found in Baltimore City. However, there are additional area shelters that also take in stray/found animals. If you are outside of BARCS' service area or are unsure whom to call, please refer to this list of local area shelters.
