Partner Spotlight: Maxim Charitable Foundation
Every single day, generous volunteers give their time to make sure the animals in our shelter home are walked and loved. While we rely heavily on individual volunteers, BARCS also has partnerships with organizations that want to make a difference in the lives of homeless animals in our community. One of those companies is Maxim Healthcare Services through their charitable wing, The Maxim Charitable Foundation.
Members of the Maxim Charitable Foundation will be the first to tell you that their team is chock full of animal lovers. A few board members are lucky enough to share their home with BARCS alums.
Maxim loves to support charitable organizations who do amazing things for their communities. Per Chelsea, Recruitment Operations Manager, “In addition to supporting the care of over 10,000 animals a year, as if that isn’t incredible enough, BARCS also does so much to bring the local community together.”
To support BARCS, Maxim holds donation drives for wish list items, sends volunteers to walk dogs (and at least once ended up taking a dog home with them!), joins other fantastic sponsors to support some of BARCS’ events such as BARCStoberfest and Pawject Runway, and even recently held a “BARCS Day” with raffle items, a donation drive and adoption opportunities—two dogs found homes that day.
