Marley

Sweet Marley's journey began when she was found alone, tied to the pole of a vacant porch before being brought to BARCS. The poor girl looked like she had seen better days, appearing very thin with wounds in different parts of her body. During her evaluation by our veterinary team, she remained friendly with our staff, despite not feeling well. It was determined that Marley was malnourished and underweight, with open sores in different parts of her body, and her tail was injured and would require amputation.

After giving her the initial care she needed, including cleaned wounds and antibiotics, and starting Marley on a safe weight gain plan, our team made the decision to send her to our wonderful Franky Fund partner. While the partner team took care of Marley, she continued to steadily gain weight. When she was strong enough, she underwent the much-needed tail amputation surgery.

While recuperating from her medical ordeal, Marley moved to a loving foster home, which soon became home! Marley found her loving family with her foster parents. What a heartwarming turn of events for this lovable pup!
