Cheetah Kitten
Cheetah Kitten, once a free-spirited outdoor cat, found her way to BARCS when a caring soul noticed her struggling with a painful leg injury. Upon evaluation, our veterinary team found a deep wound, infection, and a fracture in her right hind leg, making it impossible for her to bear weight. She was also underweight, dehydrated, and dealing with a flea situation.
The BARCS veterinary staff cleaned her wound, provided antibiotics and other medications, and IV fluids for rehydration. After further observation, it was determined Cheetah Kitten needed leg amputation surgery, and that's when the decision was made to send her to our Franky Fund partner.
Cheetah Kitten remained sweet and cooperative throughout her rescue journey. We're thrilled to share that Cheetah Kitten is now living her best three-legged life in a loving home of her own!
