Lil Soup

One-month-old Lil Soup came to BARCS alongside her mom and kitten siblings through no fault of her own. During their initial veterinary evaluation, Lil Soup and her siblings were treated for moderate dehydration, nasal discharge, and fleas. In the following days, it was noted that Lil Soup had labored breathing. At this moment, it was decided it was in her best interest to be sent to our Franky Fund partner for further exams and treatment.

At the hospital, X-rays were taken, which confirmed that Lil Soup had pneumonia. She was given fluids and antibiotic treatment, and the team kept her comfortable and loved throughout her recovery. Once she was stable and clear from her pneumonia, Lil Soup was discharged to a loving foster home.

When Lil Soup reached the age where she was ready for adoption, she attended the Mega Summer Adopt-a-thon with her foster parents in search of a loving home. Luckily, she found the perfect match and now has her very own home!
